Labeling Photos
Choose from nine different labels (1 through 9). Labels cannot be applied to videos.
Choosing a Label
Labels are displayed in a variety of locations.
On Thumbnails
Mouse over thumbnails (if the picture is currently unlabeled, a “0” will be displayed) and click the desired labels.
Assigning the Same Label to Multiple Pictures
Labels chosen after selecting multiple pictures using the control (or in macOS, the command) or shift key apply to all images in the selection.
On the Bottom Toolbar
Click the desired label in the toolbar at the bottom of the view area (0 The Bottom Toolbar).
Labeling Pictures in the “2/4 Images” Views
Labels apply only to the current picture (the picture highlighted in white or black).
In the [XMP/IPTC] Tab
Click the desired label under [XMP/IPTC] > [Label] in the Adjustments/Info palette (0 The Adjustments/Info Palette).
Filtering Pictures by Label
Pictures can be filtered by label. Click 
and choose the desired label or labels.
