Add a grainy texture to the image.
[Film grain]- Add a grainy texture that evokes the look of traditional film photography.
[Intensity]- Adjust the strength of the grainy texture. Choose higher values for a rougher and grainier effect.
[Size]- Choose a grain size from [Small], [Medium], and [Large]. Smaller sizes create a finer texture, while larger sizes emphasize the grainy texture.
Caution: “Film Grain”
The grain effect appears randomly.
- The grain pattern appears differently each time you select or deselect the [Film grain] item even when setting [Intensity] and [Size] to the same value. The film grain pattern appears differently on RAW and JPEG images when [Film grain] is applied to pictures taken in RAW + JPEG format.
- [Film grain] cannot be used on JPEG images that already have a grain effect added with the camera or [Film grain] applied and exported in NX Studio.
