Uploading Pictures via FTP
Pictures imported from the camera can be uploaded manually or automatically to the FTP server. You can also automatically straighten or resize images when uploading them to an FTP server.
- Uploading Pictures via FTP Manually: Select pictures in gallery view and upload them.
- Uploading Pictures via FTP Automatically: With automatic FTP upload enabled, connect the camera to the smart device or take pictures while the two devices are connected. By enabling both automatic import and automatic FTP upload, the entire process of import and upload after taking pictures can be performed automatically.
Checking the FTP Status on NX MobileAir
The status of upload to the FTP server can be determined by looking at the icon displayed in gallery view and single-frame view.

Checking the FTP Status on the Camera Monitor (Supported Cameras Only)

This feature is available with:
- Z 9 cameras (“C” firmware version 4.00 or later)

The display in the camera monitor shows upload status and alerts you if some pictures failed to upload.
- FTP: Upload of pictures from the smart device to the FTP server is in progress.
- FTPC: The smart device failed to connect to the FTP server.
- FTPWC: The smart device was able to connect to the FTP server but one or more pictures could not be uploaded.
- FTPCWC: The smart device could not connect to the FTP server and one or more pictures could not be uploaded.
- WC: The smart device is not currently connected to the FTP server and one or more pictures could not be uploaded.
