To take pictures with the remote control after pairing the camera with a smart device, connect to the remote control using Remote options > Choose connection in the “Camera” tab.

Connecting to the Remote Control

Select Camera & remote and tap OK to connect to the remote control currently paired with the camera. SnapBridge 360/170 will terminate its connection to the camera and you will no longer be able to use the smart device to control the camera remotely or download pictures either manually or using the Auto download option in the “Connect” tab.

Remotes must be paired with the camera before first use. Pair the devices as described in “Pair remote”.

Reconnecting to the Smart Device

Turn on both the camera and remote control and press the Fn button on the remote control for over 3 seconds to end the camera’s connection to the remote control and restore its connection to the smart device. You will no longer be able to use the remote to control the camera.
