Take pictures remotely, download selected pictures, or adjust camera or remote control settings. You must establish a connection to the camera before you can use the settings in the Camera tab.

  • Paired cameras: The names of the cameras currently paired with the smart device. If the wireless connection to the camera is currently inactive, no (Bluetooth) or (Wi-Fi) icon will be displayed; the camera will reconnect automatically when turned on.
  • Remote photography: Take pictures remotely.

Remote Photography

This option is available only with Wi-Fi equipped cameras.

  • Download pictures: View the photos and stream the movies on the camera or delete or download pictures.

This option is available only with Wi-Fi equipped cameras.

  • Camera settings: Adjust camera settings. Note that you will be unable to adjust camera settings if the camera is off or while it is waiting to establish a connection after being turned on. Wait for the icon to be displayed in the Paired cameras section before adjusting settings.

  • Remote options: Pair remotes with the camera or switch control from the smart device to the remote.

Remote Options

  • Choose connection: Choose Camera & remote to terminate the connection with the smart device and switch to a remote control that is currently paired with the camera. Note that this terminates the connection with SnapBridge 360/170; for more information on switching between the smart device and a remote control, see “Switching Between the App and Remote Control”.
  • Pair remote: Remote controls must be paired with the camera before they can be used. Tap Pair remote and tap OK to end the connection to the smart device and ready the camera for pairing. After confirming that the remote control is off, press and hold the power button on the remote for at least 3 seconds to pair it with the camera.
