About Nikon Transfer 2

Use Nikon Transfer 2 to copy pictures from the camera to a selected folder on your computer. The pictures on the camera memory card can be viewed either by connecting the camera to the computer or by inserting the card in the computer’s memory card slot (if available) or a third-party card reader. You can then choose pictures for transfer or download all the pictures from the memory card.

You can also perform a variety of other download tasks, such as renaming files or creating backups during transfer.
